Fieldglass earns Ariba ready status
Fieldglass, the US-based provider of contingent workforce management and services procurement software, have announced that have now met the requirements for Ariba's Ariba® Ready™ designation.
The designation - which is awarded to suppliers who have demonstrated the ability to transact and provide content to organisations using Ariba Buyer through the Ariba Supplier Network - comes after Fieldglass integrated its InSite® software with Ariba's own offerings.
"The successful integration between InSite and Ariba has been in production for years with several Fortune 500 clients allowing them to extend their investment in Ariba in acquiring human capital and services while also managing the tasks and activities involving the people that are getting work done," said Fieldglass CTO, Sean Chou.
"Fieldglass is honored to be acknowledged within the Ariba Ready program and thereby a part of the procurement ecosystem of Ariba clients."
The integration of InSite with Ariba will allow Fieldglass to harness the functionality of labour spend management, whilst leveraging the investment that companies have made in Ariba's spend management solution.
Customers can switch between the two through the use of Ariba® PunchOut™, a system that enables clients to "punch out" from the Ariba Buyer solution to InSite's web-based application for contingent workforce management, before return to Ariba's procurement solution to complete the labour procurement transaction.
