Global sourcing on the agenda at virtual event
Global Sourcing and emerging markets will be the subjects of the next online virtual conference and exhibition to be held by Sigaria and supported as media partner by ELP.
Participants will be able to hear expert presentations, visit trade show booths, download resources and exchange ideas with fellow professionals. The Global Sourcing Live: Emerging Markets conference and exhibition will focus on up-to-date issues including low-cost sourcing regions, setting up an international purchasing office or joint
venture and talent sourcing.
It is the second online conference run by Sigaria. The first, held last year on the subject of procurement technology, attracted more than 600 participants from around the world. Participants in the next event will be able to meet other professionals in a virtual world and also review the latest services and solutions.
Global Sourcing Live, to be held on 29 April, will enable participants to attend presentations, exchange business cards with fellow visitors and visit exhibition booths.
Speakers will include global sourcing specialists and innovators from leading corporate organisations, analysts and procurement experts.
ELP director Alex Martinez said: “Global sourcing and emerging markets continue to be extremely hot topics, so we are looking forward to another very lively online conference.
“Feedback from the last event has been very positive. Procurement people really appreciate the opportunity to exchange ideas and get in tune with the latest thinking.
“Being able to do so while sitting at your computer in the office saves busy people a huge amount of time and expense.”
