David Rae - Procurement Leaders
Prior to his editorial director role at Procurement Leaders, David was the deputy editor of Financial Director in June 2005 and has since been short-listed for three major journalism awards* for his profile interviews and regular columns. During his time on the magazine he managed the redesign and relaunch of FinancialDirector.co.uk to wide critical acclaim as well as being responsible for all aspects of the magazine's production in addition to editing a regular supplement.
Prior to Financial Director, he enjoyed a successful period on Accountancy Age, latterly as deputy news editor, where he was responsible for breaking a number of important stories.
He has interviewed some of the most important figures in UK financial circles, including the group finance directors of British Airways, Wolseley, GUS, BHP Billiton, AstraZeneca and the BBC as well as the then-shadow Chancellor, Oliver Letwin.
