Frederic Andre - GE Equipment Services
Frederic Andre has been Sourcing Manager Europe at GE Equipment Services since 2003, based at their headquarters in the Netherlands.
He has extensive international experience having worked and lived in Spain, the UK, China, France and the Netherlands. He speaks fluent English and French and has a sound knowledge of Chinese, Spanish and basic German and Dutch. Andre started his career with Adtranz ABB Daimler-Benz Transportation in the UK, where he led production teams and continuous improvement exercises.
In 1999, after to the merger of Daimler-Benz and Chrysler, he was promoted to project manager. After a year spent in Asia and studying business, he accepted responsibility for managing a portfolio of commodities in the strategic purchasing department of France-based Alstom Transport. Andre holds a Master’s degree in Automotive Production Engineering and an MBA from EM Lyon.
