John joined BT earlier this year as Vendor Management Director, BT Operate - heading up a function primarily concerned with in-life vendor performance. His previous role was in a purely 'sourcing' consulting capacity with TradingPartners. This included responsibility for developing the company's "best cost sourcing" capabilities.
His earlier positions include seven years as Scottish & Newcastle's Procurement Director and senior procurement and consulting roles with Rover Group, Mars and Price Waterhouse.
