Professor Christopher Jahns has been head of the SVI-Endowed Chair for Purchasing, Logistics and Supply Chain Management at the European Business School since 2004. In addition, he is the Executive Director of the international research and training centre Supply Management Institute SMI™. Christopher Jahns is chairman of the board of the Supply Management Group SMG™ and the Logistics Consulting Company LCC™ both located in St. Gallen, Switzerland. Furthermore, he is an advisory board member of BVL, the German logistics association.
Prof. Jahns has nine years experience as a management consultant and executive coach. Following his studies in Germany, the US and Japan, he worked in corporate development at Metallgesellschaft in Frankfurt. Prof. Jahns was a lecturer and research associate of the International Management and Consulting MBA programme at the Technical University in Munich before joining the ebs.
Prof. Jahns has received numerous rewards for his national and international publications.
