Sven Anders Stegare - SEB Group
Sven-Anders Stegare has been chief procurement officer at SEB since 2004. He holds a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering majoring in Industrial Economics and Management from the Royal University of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden. In 1988 he started his career as an international strategic buyer and later Procurement Manager at IBM printer manufacturing plant in Sweden. In 1995 he joined Ericsson Telecom as Procurement Director and was responsible for restructuring of supplier base by major global outsourcing of Ericsson manufacturing of electronic components.
In 1998 he took the position as Global Procurement Director of Gambro. He was responsible for driving a major restructuring of procurement organization and supplier base. In 2000 he joined the executive management team starting the Procurement company IBX, today present in 5 countries and more than 200 employees.
